Our Design Philosophy

Sustainable design inspired by nature.

We believe good design should be timeless and achieve a natural simplicity.

We integrate our knowledge and experience of passive solar design, natural ventilation and lighting strategies with thermal building concepts to create healthy living spaces that are energy efficient and comfortable in all seasons.

Biophilic Design principles, Energy Efficiency and Healthy Buildings are at the core of all our projects and the positive benefits for the inhabitants and our environment are numerous.

We enjoy working collaboratively with our clients from siting and preliminary concepts to the finest detail, providing you with a personalized home that is connected to the surrounding natural environment.

We work as a couple on all our projects from sketch design to final completion together and both hold accreditation as Building Practitioners in Tasmania. We integrate in the design process NatHERS house energy and sustainability ratings to optimize each individual home.
